29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems.    a) On a metal building roof at 10247 GA Hwy. 116, Water Oak Way, Hamilton, GA; An employee was exposed to fall hazards as the company did not ensure they were protected from falling by the use of guardrail system, safety net system or personal fall arrest system. The employee was installing roof insulation as part of the installation of the sheet metal roof, when he fell approximately 17 feet to the concrete floor.    TNT Steel Structures, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314540949, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 30, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 4090 AL Hwy 120, Notasulga, AL 36866.
