29 CFR 1910.36(h)(1): The outside exit route did not have guardrails to protect from a fall hazard: a) For the upstairs - the Exit located on the west wall, the path for exiting the building led out the exit door onto the existing sloped building roof, and then employees would use an extension ladder stored on the roof to reach the ground. There were no guardrails or stairs along the pathway that meets the minimum height and width requirements.

29 CFR 1910.36(h)(2): The outdoor exit route was not covered where snow and ice was likely to accumulate along the route; a) For the upstairs - the Exit located on the west wall, the path for exiting the building led out the exit door onto the existing sloped building roof, and then employees would use an extension ladder stored on the roof to reach the ground. There were no covering to keep snow and ice off the exit route.
