OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. F/V U.S. Intrepid: On or about 10 February 2014 and times prior thereto, three instances were noted where electrical hazards existed: a. Generator area; face place missing from energized electrical outlet. b. Freezer area; open light socket, no bulb installed for an energized 110 volt, protective cover was missing. c. Dry storage area; face place missing from energized electrical outlet. This condition exposed employees to electrical shock and electrical burns hazards.
