OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. (a) F/V Beauty Bay, Engine Room: On or about 11 February 2014 and times prior thereto, Distribution- Panel B missing a blank or protective cover. This condition exposed employees to a 120/208 volt electrical shock and burn hazard. (b) ) F/V Beauty Bay, Foc'sle: On or about 11 February 2014 and times prior thereto, Factory Distribution Panel missing a blank or protective cover. This condition exposed employees to a 120/208 volt electrical shock and burn hazard. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard includes but not limited to install approved protective cover as per the manufactures recommendation.
