29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: The HERITAGE HOMES dba HERITAGE HOMES was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 897908, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 11, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 3227 Robbins Road, Alexander, Arkansas 72002. On or about February 18, 2014, at the job site located at 560 Joseph Drive, Alexander AR, the employer did not ensure employees exposed to falling object hazards wore hard hats to protect themselves. Employees performing construction activities including framing 2 x 4 inch wood studs and using electric cutting saws were working 10 feet below other employees framing ceiling joist without the use of hard hats for protection. This practice created a condition for employee exposure to struck by hazards from overhead falling objects that could strike employees on the head.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501: The HERITAGE HOMES dba HERITAGE HOMES was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 897908, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 11, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 3227 Robbins Road, Alexander, Arkansas 72002. On or about February 18, 2014, at the job site located at 560 Joseph Drive, Alexander AR, the employer did not ensure employees framing ceiling joist were protected by a fall protection system. This condition exposed employees to a fall of approximately 10 feet to the unfinished ground below.
