29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and/or a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift: For work performed at 7845 S. Union Ave., Tulsa, OK 74132: On or about February 21, 2014, and at times prior there to, employees were observed not wearing a body harness or lanyard while working from an aerial lift. The employees were exposed to a fall of greater than 10 feet to the ground below. OSHA recognizes that a body belt is not sufficient and the use of a full body harness is required. J. Quiroz Painting, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CRF 1926.453(b)(2)(v) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312385776, citation number 1, item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on December 4, 2009 with respect to a workplace located at 7845 S. Union Ave., Tulsa, OK 74132.
