29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): Flexibles cords and cables were used for purposes prohibited by subparagraphs (a) through (e) of this paragraph: a) On or about February 28, 2014, and at times prior, employees were exposed to electrical shock and fire hazards because flexible cord was attached to building surfaces (with metal brackets) and used permanently in place of conduit or another type of fixed wiring. Flexible cord was run from outside, through a hole in the wall and hardwired into a light switch wall box in the hallway alongside the paint booths.
