29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system.(a)(LOCATION)(IDENTIFY SPECIFIC OPERATIONS AND/OR CONDITIONS)(DESCRIBE HAZARD(S) WHERE NECESSARY) At the jobsite, the employee was exposed to a fall hazard in areas where the warning line was insufficient with OSHA 1926 fall protection standards (less than six feet from the roof edge.) Employee did not have any fall protection equipment (ex: personal fall arrest system, etc.) as a backup means of fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.502(f)(2): Warning lines shall consist of ropes, wires, or chains, and supporting stanchions erected as follows: Warning lines at the jobsite consisted of caution tape and high visibility cones. No rope, wire, chain, or stanchions were found on the roof at the time of inspection.
