29 CFR 1910.213(i)(1): Non-working portion(s) of the blade of bandsaw(s) were not enclosed or guarded: (a) Production Area Near the Office - Employees performing a two man operation on a Smart Products Pallet Dismantler, cut 48" x 40" pallets in a 64" opening where the pallet being cut did not cover the blade, thereby exposing the employees to a serious injury from the unguarded blade, observed on or about 3-4-14. Abatement Certification Required.

29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: (a) Production Floor - Employees used a Automated Machine System conveyor that was part of a trim saw board saw to move cut boards to employees for stacking. The moving chains were attached to sprockets that were within 1-3 feet from where the employees were standing, thereby exposing the employees to a serious hazard, observed on or about 3-4-14. Abatement Certification Required.
