29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) Employees engaged in carpentry work were not protected from fall hazards while working at an elevation of approximately 27 feet above the ground. P&S Carpentry, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 901091, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 3, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 3515 N. Oakley Ave., Chicago, IL 60613. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
