(a) Capitol Street, Jackson, MS - On or about March 13, 2014 the brick cutter at Southwest Design & Landscaping, LLC was over exposed to total silica dust at a concentration of 1259 mppcf (million particles per cubic foot of air) expressed as an 8 hour time weighted average of approximately 277 times the daily Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 4.55 mppcf based on a 186 minute sampling period; exposure calculations included a zero increment for the time not sampled.
