29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a.) First Source (DBA) Holiday Candy - On or about 3/20/14 temporary employees work throughout the facility performing a variety of functions including, but not limited to laborers and maintenance personnel, who can, either by virtue of their position or assignments on site, have contact or work around chemcials such as, but not limited to Windex (2 butoxyethanol), Easy Paks (sodium carbonate and citric acid/irritants); Enviroguard (irritant); propane; and, methyl ethyl ketones. The employer has not provided initial generic information and/or training for Hazard Communication. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
