OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing and stuck-by hazards while using automotive lifts:     a) On or about April 3, 2014, and at times prior, employees were exposed to potential crushing hazards while using the Rotary in-ground automotive lift in Bay 2, in that the lift was not lowered on to the safety locks, or the vehicle not secondarily supported with suitable jack stands rated for the intended load.    Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
