OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from missing latch on hoist hook: (a) Facility, Cook Room, 118 Poorman Street, Tyrone, PA: On or about 04/09/14 the latch on the hook of the 1/2 Coffing hoist was missing. Employees use the hoist to move baskets in and out of the kettles exposing them to potential burn hazards.
