29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that the employer did not ensure the safety of the equipment pursuant to the considerations in sections (i) through (viii) of 29 CR 1910.303(b)(1):    Electrical equipment was not free from hazards related to 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1)(vii) as to classification by current capacity:    a)  Welding equipment which was labeled at 230 volts and 75 amps were connected to the branch circuit through a receptacle with a capacity of 230 volts and 60 amps, in lieu of a 75 amp receptacle.    b)  Receptacles for welding equipment were connected to branch circuits using 6 gauge wiring.  This wire can handle 230 volts at 55 to 75 amps, depending on temperature.  The circuit was protected by a 200 amp fuse, in lieu of the required 55 amp rating.
