29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work on, had the strength and structure integrity to support employees safely: (a) 2305 Abutment Road, Dalton GA: Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 30 feet while working from the top of a flat commercial roof because the employer did not ensure the roof had the structural integrity to support employees and their equipment safely.

29 CFR 1926.502(f)(2)(ii): The rope, wire, or chain was not rigged or supported in such a way that its lowest point (including sag) was not less than 34 inches (0.9 m) from the walking/working surface and its highest point no more than 39 inches (1.0 m) from the walking/working surface. The warning line was only a few inches above the metal roof deck.
