Exit routes in the following locations were less than 28" wide, exposing employees to delayed egress and smoke inhalation in the event of a fire.     a)    The West side exit route was only 23" wide.     b)    The North side exit route was only 22" wide.     There is no abatement documentation or certification required for this item.

The kerfer/router blades were not adequately guarded in that the cover over the blades did not have a safety interlock and could be raised during production while the blades were moving.  The blades were not adequately guarded, exposing employees to amputation and laceration hazards.    b)  Maintenance Shop.  The horiztonal band saw did not have a guard covering the exposed, unused portion of the blade during metal cutting operations, exposing employees to amputation and laceration hazards.    Abatement documentation is required for instance (a).  There is no documentation or certification required for instance (b), which was corrected during inspection.
