29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch:  In Department 432 and the Tool Crib, grinder guards were not properly adjusted, exposing employees to a struck by hazard in the following instances:  1)  The Dayton Pedestal Grinder tongue guard was adjusted to approximately 1/2 inch gap from the guard to the wheel, exposing employees to a struck by hazard.  2)  In the Tool Crib, the Baldor Pedestal Grinder tongue guard was adjusted to approximately 1 inch gap from the guard to the wheel, exposing employees to a struck by hazard.
