29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of copper fumes listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average (TWA) concentration of  0.1 milligram per cubic meter (mg/m3):      Welding area: Employees who were performing welding operations were overexposed to copper fumes due to inadequate ventilation.  OSHA sampling was conducted on May 01, 2014.  Following 8-hour TWA results were obtained from the sampling 0.13 mg/m3, 0.23 mg/m3, 0.33 mg/m3, and 1.10 mg/m3. The values obtained were 2 to 10 1/2 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 0.1 mg/m3.
