In the plant manufacturing area compressed air used for cleaning was not reduced from the nominal plant air pressure of 120 psi. Employees were exposed to the hazard of injecting air into their body.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) from hazards created by in-going nip points, and/or flying chips:  In the manufacturing area the buffing machines did not have the in-going nip points protected from grabbing the small pieces of metal that were held in the hand. Employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck-by the metal and/or the buffing wheel.
