29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1):  All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, and service rooms were not clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition.    a) Sawmill Mezzanine:  The sawmill mezzanine had not been cleaned adequately to prevent the buildup of wood dust.   Wood dust from the mezzanine was assessed as a Class II Dust, and potentially explosive material, according to an OSHA sample taken May 1, 2014.    Abatement certification is required for this item.    Tri-Pro Forest Products, formerly Tri-Pro Cedar Products, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 29136, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on June 15, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 1122 E Highway 2, in Oldtown, Idaho.

29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4):  Work rests were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one-eighth inch to prevent the work from being jammed between the wheel and the rest, which may cause wheel breakage.   a) Maintenance Shop - the work rest on a Heavy Duty Black and Decker abrasive wheel grinder was damaged, and was not adjusted to within one-eighth inch of the abrasive wheel.  This item was corrected during the inspection.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii) Oxygen cylinders in storage shall be separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet (6.1 m) or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet (1.5 m) high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one-half hour.  a) Oxygen / Acetylene Storage Area in PB1 - An oxygen cylinder was stored adjacent to an acetylene cylinder and they were not separated by a noncombustible barrier.  This item was abated during the inspection.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(ii): In locations where electric equipment is likely to be exposed to physical damage, enclosures or guards were not arranged and of such strength as to prevent such damage.  a) PB1 Breakdown Lift - Electrical insulation on the 110V cords to the foot pedals of the lift were damaged, and insulation was missing.  This item was abated during the inspection.
