29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv): The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information: On or about May 9, 2014, at the above addressed jobsite, the employer did not provide adequate training or information regarding the hazards of chemicals, according to the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals with pictograms or representations, as a part of the new SDS and label format, to employees who use products containing hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to sodium hydroxide, ethanol, and sodium bicarbonate, to clean, sanitize, and disinfect eating utensils, plates, cups, pots, and pans.
