29 CFR 1910.132(h)(1): Except as provided by paragraphs (h)(2) through (h)(6) of this section, the protective equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE), used to comply with this part, shall be provided by the employer at no cost to employees.  a) Mac-Bestos Inc. 1235 Delaware St., Denver, CO 80204:  On or before May, 12, 2014, the employer did not provide employees with respirators.  The employer deducted employees pay when providing respirators to employees required to conduct asbestos abatement activities inside an asbestos regulated area for the following instances:  1)Initial respirators and replacement respirators that are not lost or intentionally damaged, used during asbestos abatement activities;  2)When employees have skin reactions to a specific type of respirator other options for respirators were not provided prior to the employee being required to conduct asbestos abatement activities.
