29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1): The employer did not establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided by 29 CFR 1910.95(g) by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels: a) On or about 05/13/14 - Frame shop, a metal fabrication worker assembling steel frames into mobile homes was exposed to occupational noise at 94.0 percent of the allowable 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 dBA or an equivalent sound level of 89.5 dBA. The sampling was performed for 476 minutes on 05/16/14. Zero percent exposure was assumed for the remainder of the shift. No audiometric testing program was established or maintained by the employer. b) On or about 05/13/14 - Frame shop, a metal fabrication worker assembling steel frames into mobile homes was exposed to occupational noise at 77.6 percent of the allowable 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 dBA or an equivalent sound level of 88.1 dBA. The sampling was performed for 473 minutes on 05/16/14. Zero percent exposure was assumed for the remainder of the shift. No audiometric testing program was established or maintained by the employer. c) On or about 05/13/14 - Frame shop, a metal fabrication worker assembling steel frames into mobile homes was exposed to occupational noise at 65.57 percent of the allowable 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 dBA or an equivalent sound level of 87.1 dBA.
