29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) Location: 1 Front Street Marblehead, MA, 01945 On or about 5/14/14, employees were not protected from falling while working on a roof more than 6 feet above a lower level. HGM Industries, Inc. was previously cited for violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 941510, citation number 1, item number 002 issued on 11/06/2013 and was affirmed final order on 12/30/2013 with respect to a workplace located at 20 Walker Road, Swampscott, MA 01907.
