29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2): Employees were not protected from excavated or other materials or equipment that could pose a hazard by falling or rolling into excavations: a) Lincoln Highway and Wood Avenue, Iselin, NJ 08830. Employees were allowed to work at the base of a 20 foot shear wall of soil when they were not protected from struck by and engulfment hazards in that there was loose rock or soil that posed a hazard by falling or rolling from the face of the excavation. Condition occurred on or about 05/14/14.
