29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about 5/8/14, on the flat roof of a building located at 960 Erie Avenue, North Tonawanda NY - Two employees were exposed to a potential fall of approximately 18' to the ground below while replacing the roof over the truck docking area. The employees were observed working at the edge of the roof without wearing any fall protection. No other fall protection system was utilized to protect the employees. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
