29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: (a) Facility, 899 Water Street, Indiana, PA: On or about 05/27/14 adequate training had not been provided to authorized, affected and other employees. Authorized employees did not know the location of the written energy control program or procedures nor was any training provided to ensure the employees fully understood the purpose and function of the program; affected employees had not received training on the requirements of the program to ensure they understood how lockout affected their work duties.
