29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. 117 Edgar Rd. Linden, NJ 07036: Employees engaged in roofing activities on a low sloped roof approximately 18 feet above the ground were standing approximately 3 feet from the edge of the open side of the roof and were not protected from falls by use of a guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. Observed on or about 5/23/2014.
