29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On May 14, 2014 and at times prior thereto; East area of building; employees framing a new residential home were observed working on the lower roof without a personal fall arrest system in place to prevent them from falling 12 feet to ground level. b) On May 14, 2014 and at times prior thereto; first and second floor; employees while framing the new residential home were observed working near unguarded floor openings exposing them to a fall hazard to the lower levels; 10-20 foot fall. c) On May 14, 2014 and at times prior thereto; stairway; employees framing a new residential home were using unguarded stairway to access the upper or lower levels exposing them to 10-20 foot fall to the lower levels.
