29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about 6/4/14 at 401 East Tomlinson Street in McDonough, GA: Employees observed working from a scaffold system and working near the unprotected sides and elevator shaft were not protected from a fall hazard of up to 14 feet 6 inches from the lower level. a. Section K main level between columns 37 and 39 unprotected sides and edges. b. Section K elevator shaft midrail not installed.
