29 CFR  1910.134(c)(1): In any workplace where respirators are necessary to protect the health of the employee or whenever respirators are required by the employer, the employer did not establish and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures.  a) Employees are spray painting trailers and other heavy equipment with paints that contain solvents such as butyl acetate and toluene.  During this operation, employees are wearing 1/2 face elastomeric respirators, and the employer has not implemented a written respiratory protection program.  Abatement certification is required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii):  The employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard(s) in the workplace; this evaluation shall include a reasonable estimate of employee exposures to respiratory hazard(s) and an identification of the contaminant's chemical state and physical form.   a) Employees are spray painting trailers and other heavy equipment with paints that contain solvents such as butyl acetate and toluene.  During this operation, employees are wearing 1/2 face elastomeric respirators, and the employer has not evaluated the workplace to estimate employee exposure to respiratory hazards.  Abatement certification is required for this item.

During this operation, employees are wearing 1/2 face elastomeric respirators, and the employer has not conducted medical evaluations for these employees.   Abatement certification is required for this item.

During this operation, employees are wearing 1/2 face elastomeric respirators, and the employer has not conducted annual fit tests for these employees.   Abatement certification is required for this item.
