29 CFR 1910.305(j)(2)(v): A receptacle installed outdoors in a location protected from the weather or in other damp locations did not have an enclosure for the receptacle that was weatherproof when the receptacle was covered (attachment plug cap not inserted and receptacle covers closed): (a) On or about June 6, 2014, and at times prior, employees were exposed to electrical hazards from an outlet on the outside wall of the garage just outside of the office door, on which the receptacle cover did not have a spring or latch to ensure it is effectively closed when plugs were not inserted. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
