29 CFR 1910.305(j)(2)(v): A receptacle installed outdoors in a location protected from the weather or in other damp locations did not have an enclosure for the receptacle that was weatherproof when the receptacle was covered (attachment plug cap not inserted and receptacle covers closed): (a) On or about April 2, 2015, and at times prior, employees were exposed to electrical hazards from an outlet on the outside wall of the garage just outside of the office door, on which the receptacle cover did not have a spring or latch to ensure it is effectively closed when plugs were not inserted. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet"). Colorado Motorsport Production was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(j)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 97977, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 18, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 701 S. Rooney in Lakewood, Colorado.
