29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure: a. On or about June 17, 2014, at the above addressed jobsite, employees installing shingles on the roof areas which varied from a 10/12 to a 12/12 pitch were exposed to falls between 11 to 20 feet due to the lack of a fall protection system.
