29 CFR 1910.213(c)(2): Hand-fed circular ripsaw(s) were not furnished with a spreader to prevent material from squeezing the saw or being thrown back on the operator.  a)  On or about June 11, 2014, and at times prior, employees were exposed to stuck-by hazards (operators or employees in the vicinity of the saw), while operating table saws (Delta RT 31 and SCMI) without spreaders on the table saws.  Hartson Enterprises, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.213(c)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 950439, citation number 1, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on March 11, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 3340 S. Zuni St, Sheridan, Co 80110.

29 CFR 1910.213(h)(1): The sides of the lower exposed portion of the blade of radial saw(s) were not guarded to the full diameter of the blade by a device that automatically adjusted itself to the thickness of the stock and remained in contact with the material.   a) On or about June 11, 2014, and at times prior, employees were exposed to an amputation hazard, while operating a hand crank radial saw( Evans E 24 Equipment-Evans Rotork) where the lower half of the blade was not guarded. 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure.  a)  On or about June 11, 2014 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fire hazards due to utilizing extension cords hanging throughout the ceiling as fixed wiring in the production work area. Extension cords were used to wire permanent fixtures involving receptacles mounted in the benches.
