29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. On or about June 20, 2014, at the west side of the building, one employee installing weather proofing paper on a 6:12 pitch residential roof was not protected from a 8ft-6in fall hazard by the use of a fall protection system. b. On or about June 20, 2014, at the east and southeast side of the building, three employees removing old shingles on a 6:12 pitch residential roof were not protected from a 10-ft fall hazard by the use of a fall protection system.
