Employees  are exposed to falls of up to 10ft high from the storage system to the floor below.     1) Employees pick orders by climbing onto the storage rack cables and shelves without personal protective equipment such as but not limited to a safety harness and lanyard or other fall protection system. Employees exposed to falling off of the racks cable or shelving up to 10ft.     Condition noted on or about 6/26/14.

29 CFR 1910.26(c)(3)(vii): Ladders were used for other uses than that for which they were intended, unless specifically recommended for use by the manufacturer.    140 Docks Corner Road, Dayton, NJ site - Warehouse/ Mezzanine:    a) Employees are allowed to climb up on to the mid and top rails of the portable metal ladder to access clothing product located on the middle and top storage racks (approximately >10 feet). The ladder rails are being used in a manner which is not intended.    b) Platforms  located on some of the portable metal ladders located at the site were used not as intended. The ladders were not provided a means to prevent employees from accidentally falling/ slipping off of the top of the ladder.    Condition noted on or about 6/26/2014.
