29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The employer is failing to protect employees from potential fall hazards associated with roofing a new residential home where the ground to eave is greater than 6 feet and the roof pitch is more than 4:12. The most recent example of this was found on the job site located at 2406 N. 178th Street, Elkhorn, NE 68022 where the employer has employees roofing a new residential home without connecting the fall arrest harnesses they are wearing to the structure through the use of a rope, rope grab, anchor point and a shock absorbing lanyard. Alfredo Navarro Construction was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection number 898867, Citation number 1, item number 1, issued on 5/31/13, with respect to a workplace located at 323 W. Glenmore Road, Gretna, NE 68028 and became a Final Order effective September 6, 2013.

The most recent example of this was found on the job site located at 2406 N. 178th Street, Elkhorn, NE 68022 where the employer has untrained employees roofing a new residential home without the use of fall protection.
