29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(ii): Prior to permitting an employee to operate a powered industrial truck (except for training purposes), the employer shall ensure that each operator has successfully completed the training required by this paragraph (l), except as permitted by paragraph (l)(5). a) On or about June 26, 2014 an employee was operating a Reallift sit down forklift s/n 120419599 having completed the written test only and not all the training required by paragraph(l) The Rural King Supply was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 921907, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 9/19/13, with respect to a workplace located at 1900 West Park Square Xenia, OH 45385.
