OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing/struck-by hazards: Employees who operated a Real Lift/Hangchow powered industrial truck, SN 080620078, without an operator restraint system, were exposed to being struck-by and crushed between the truck and the ground while traveling on an unevenly paved road that was rutted on both sides and likely to cause a tip-over. There is no documentation or certification of abatement required for this item.
