29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) On or about 07/17/2014 - Pattern shop, a Powermatic drill press Model#1150, S/N#3-S2075 was being operated with unguarded rotating parts.  b) On or about 07/17/2014 - Pattern shop, a Powermatic drill press Model#1200, S/N#420V438 was being operated with unguarded rotating parts.   c) On or about 07/17/2014 - Pattern shop, a Powermatic drill press Model#600, S/N#499495 was being operated with unguarded rotating parts.   d) On or about 07/17/2014 - Pattern shop, a Powermatic band saw Model#8J, S/N#481166 was being operated with the unused portion of the blade exposed.   e) On or about 07/17/2014 - Pattern shop, a Davis & Wells band saw #19, S/N#40019 was being operated with the unused portion of the blade exposed.   f) On or about 07/17/2014 - Pattern shop, a South band horizontal lathe was being operated with unguarded rotating parts.   g) On or about 07/17/2014 - Pattern shop, a Supermax (Bridgeport) vertical milling machine was being operated with unguarded rotating parts.  h) On or about 07/17/2014 - Assembly department, a drill press was being operated with unguarded rotating parts.   i) On or about 07/17/2014 - Inspection department, a Burr king sanding machine was being operated with inrunning nip points exposed.
