29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in cabinets, boxes, and fittings shall be effectively closed. a. Next to the generator, the cabinet had an unused opening. The employee were exposed to an arc blast hazard. b. Outside the building on the North side left of risers, their was a 600 Vac knife switch box with an unused opening at the bottom. The employees were exposed to a fire hazard. c. Near dock 5 the 240 Vac knife switch box had an unused opening that had been closed with Duct tape, the employees were exposed to an arc blast hazard. Iron Mountain was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 107340, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/17/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 2120 Buzick Drive, Columbus, OH 43207.
