29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) C Wing East High Roof - Three employees worked from the east high roof of C Wing to grout the block walls of Stair Tower 1. The three employees who worked from this flat roof did not use any fall protection systems, exposing these employees to the hazard of falling 11 feet 5 inches to the mechanical area on the roof below, on or about July 25, 2014. Corrected during the inspection. No abatement certification or documentation required.
