Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from the incompatible storage of chemicals in the workplace:  Chemical Storage Area, Southside: On or about July 30, 2014, employees were exposed to chemical hazards from the incompatible storage of alkaline chemicals, such as 5047 HF Cleaner (Sodium Hydroxide), Caustic Soda (Sodium Hydroxide Solid), Barium Carbonate, and Soda Ash (Sodium carbonate) with chemicals which contain inorganic acids (proprietary), such as Nibrite Leveler, NiBrite Carrier and NiBrite PentaStar One.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(5): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged, or marked with the identity and appropriate hazard warnings regarding the chemicals contained therein:  a) Electroplating area, Southside: On or about July 30, 2014, and times prior there to, employees were exposed to chemical hazards from a 440 gallon Nickel Electroplating bath that was not properly labeled to include chemical names and information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical.  b) Electroplating area, Southside: On or about July 30, 2014, and times prior there to, employees were exposed to chemical hazards from two 55-gallon Copper Cyanide Electroplating barrels that were not properly labeled to include chemical names and information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical.  c) Electroplating area, Southside: On or about July 30, 2014, and times prior there to, employees were exposed to chemical hazards from a 200 gallon degreaser bath that was not properly labeled to include chemical names and information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical.  d) Electroplating area, Southside: On or about July 30, 2014, and times prior there to, employees were exposed to chemical hazards from three 55-gallon rinse water barrels that were not properly labeled to include waste chemical names and information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous waste chemical.  e) Chemical Storage area, Southside: On or about July 30, 2014, and times prior there to, employees were exposed to chemical hazards from various chemical containers, such as containers labeled as "Acid", that were not properly labeled to include chemical names and information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical.
