29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) 1004-1008 Nye Road, Hurricane: Employees were found leaning over the edge of the second floor of a new residential construction, without fall protection, pulling up boards. The employees were exposed to an approximated 13 foot fall as observed on or about 08/01/2014. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED Garrison Contracting, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 909733, citation number 01, item number 02, and was affirmed as a final order on October 23, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at Wedgewood Glen Subdivision From Sleepy Hollow Drive Hurricane WV.
