29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(I): Flexible cords and cables were not protected from damage. Sharp corners and projections were not avoided: a) construction site, Clarion University - Becht Hall, in Clarion, PA. On or about July 31, 2014, extension cords, used to power the table saws and other electrical tools, were damaged in that the outer sheathing was sliced open, exposing the inner wires of the cords. The extension cords were not protected from the sharp edges of the metal stud framing. In addition, the extension cords were not routed in a manner to avoid the edges of the metal stud framing.
