29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: (a) On or about July 28, 2014, and at times prior, employees were exposed to an 18-foot fall hazard while installing roofing materials on a 6/12 pitch roof next to an unprotected edge on a residential house in the vicinity of 1105 Honeysuckle Drive in Harrisburg, South Dakota. Note: This company was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 524885, Citation 1, Item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 8/14/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 3760 North Fourth Avenue in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
