To abate this violation, the employer must ensure fall protection is utilized by employees who are exposed to fall hazards.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer does not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) All-Set Roofing and Construction, LLC, Bowling Green, Ohio: The employer does not ensure that each employee engaged in roofing activities is trained on the recognition and control of fall hazards of approximately 15 feet, as observed on August 7, 2014 at the address of 460 Linwood, Fostoria, Ohio. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that employees are trained to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards. All-Set Roofing and Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 923907, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 3, 2014, with respect to a workplace at 814 Lafayette Blvd., Bowling Green, Ohio.
