29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms.    a- 10 Reid St., South River, NJ - Employees working from two Alum-A-Pole scaffolds, approximately 20 ft. from the ground, were not provided adequate fall protection, in that midrails and siderails were not installed to protect the employees from a fall hazard.    Condition noted on or about 8/12/14.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     a- 10 Reid St., South River, NJ - Employee engaged in soffit trim work were observed walking on the upper roof and first level roof at heights of 28 ft. and 20 ft., respectively, without fall protection in place.    Condition noted on or about 8/12/14.      Marcus Home Improvement, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 974157, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/8/14, with respect to a workplace located at 16 Cypress St., Carteret, NJ 07008.
